Refurbish Your Own

As this year's season draws to a close, maybe you find yourself looking around your own house and seeing things that would be very cute if they were painted. Maybe it's a wood piece that needs to be refinished but you would rather it to be white or and other color. This will show you a quick and easy way to change your old junk furniture into great looking treasures that you will love in your home. This is a quick, inexpensive, and easy way to do a facelift to your house. Below are some pictures of an Ethan Allen cabinet that I aquired. This was a nice looking piece, but it looks dated and old. This, however, is easy to change...
This is what the Ethan Allen Hutch looks like right now before the work begins. At one time it was a nice and expensive piece, but the years haven't been the kindest to it. It definately needs a little attention.

If you notice on the top of this piece it looks like someone may have spilled black paint on the wood. This can be a little bit of a problem when painting it  white like I plan too so special attention will need to be given to that spot.

Here is a close-up of the spot to which I was referring to above. As you can see by the picture, it is definately something that needs attention.

Ok. Now that you've seen the before product, you had better stop by here later on tonight to see what has changed with this piece. You may not even recognize it! I will show you what it takes to turn your own piece of junk into something you'll love and the best part is that you can do this to any of your own furniture!
